FanFace is a functional accessory for everyone from the casual fan to super-fans. The versatile design allows users to wear the product in multiple ways including: a face shield, neck gaiter, headband, beanie, ponytail holder, bandana, wristband, and more while still showing their favorite
university or team markings. Additionally, the branded design of the headwear offers the customer a way to show their colors and spirit in the context of an athletic event, outdoor activities, or everyday life.
Joba started the design process by engaging with consumers, and stakeholders to identify the basic ideas behind the product. Through our various research methods we developed a clear position for Fanface product in the gaiter market. While understanding the competition and developing a pattern and material combination for long term use, Joba worked closely with our clients to develop a clear name and brand for the gaiter product.
Thinking about how consumers would use the product, the current market, and insight from our clients, we developed a product and brand that would stand up against competition, and deliver unique, high quality designs for the modern fan.
With brand elements identified, Joba created an e-commerce experience to interact with potential customers. The e-commerce store is a digital experience showcasing the growing line of Fanface products, with model shots, how to wear, product photography and a social media feed. The online experience shares the FanFace story, and is a clean and cohesive extension of the product.
