Dave’s Home Improvement
Dave’s Home Improvement & Construction (Dave’s), is a leader in home improvement and construction, based in the New Rover Valley of Southwest Virginia. Dave’s leadership wanted to expand company marketing and contacted Joba requesting a brand review consultation before investing in the marketing rollout.Following the consultation, Dave’s engaged Joba for Brand Identity Design, including the redesign of Dave’s logo, and supporting collateral ranging from business cards and signage to company vehicles.
Branding
Dave’s new logo utilizes the design principle of contrast between positive and negative shapes. The negative shape, a silhouette of a house, is removed within the positive shape of a capital-letter D. This unique logomark clearly indicates Dave’s mission and its minimalism stands apart from other regional competition.
