USM Haller Soft Panel

The USM Haller Soft Panel redefines the iconic modular system through the warmth of textile and the ease of magnetic connection. Developed with USM, this new product expansion introduces a flexible, hardware-less panel that brings texture, color, and play to a system long known for its precision and structure.

Joba Studio led the visual and material design, curating the palette, patterns, and tactile detailing that transform the USM Haller’s aesthetic from industrial to intimate. The result is a new dimension of modularity, one that feels softer, more human, and endlessly adaptable.

Launching globally Winter 2026 through USM showrooms and online.

Product

Designed to integrate seamlessly within the USM Haller system, the Soft Panel attaches magnetically, eliminating the need for tools or hardware. This playful yet practical innovation allows panels to be rearranged easily, encouraging creativity in both form and function.

Each panel is wrapped in a durable polyester fabric that enhances acoustics and comfort, while the core is composed of 40% recycled ocean plastic, reinforcing a shared commitment to sustainability. Available in a variety of colorways, the collection invites both subtle coordination and bold contrast.

The Soft Panel embodies the spirit of collaboration: French designer Marc Venot developed the magnetic connection system, while Kevin Jones and the Joba Studio team crafted the tactile language, balancing structure and spontaneity. Together, they’ve created a product that evolves a 60-year legacy of modular design, reminding us that timeless systems can still surprise.
